The Queens Museum seeks an energetic and well-organized Youth Programs Coordinator with a passion for engaging diverse young audiences of all backgrounds, experiences and abilities through a vibrant range of learning experiences and encounters with art and culture. Reporting to the Education Manager, the Youth Coordinator works directly with the Director of Education to shape and implement the Young Leaders Art and Social Justice Institute, a series of art and cultural sessions, leadership workshops, community service projects, and education seminars embedded in art and social justice, civic engagement, and activism for teens and young people.
Successful candidates will be detail-oriented team players with strong administrative and interpersonal skills, well-versed in contemporary art practice, and committed to the connection between art, learning and movements for social justice.
